In December I performed with Simon Rose (alto & baritone saxophone) at TheaterKapelle in Berlin. This particular concert series entitled “Sound Art Modules” is organised by Leander Reininghaus.
The series is based on the Chinese board game Tangram. A module corresponds to a musician and his sound world. The artists improvise freely and without consultation, in a selected occupation. At least one module left over from the previous concert connects to the new figure. In addition, there is also the possibility to dock again later. It was a great venue and a very enjoyable and successful improvisation with Simon. We plan to continue the great work discovered here in future performances, looking forward to that.
