Today I release a new album, Beyond Torneo Vol I. This release is volume 1 of 3, with parts 2 and 3 coming over the next couple of months. The complete project is the outcome of an intense period of studio improvisations/real-time compositions during the summer.
Beyond Torneo consists of three volumes, with volume II and III being released over the next couple of months. The project explores the idea of dead zones, both real and imaginary.
Themes such as neglect, decay, stagnation, and pollution of the real and imagined experience are explored. These themes are not necessarily the final destination, the work is the experience of traversing these zones.
