Las year I had the great pleasure of working with Daniel Eceolaza on this 4 part video LP seasonal. It’s a video series that focuses on artists from different places living and being creative in Berlin.

From Dark Comes Light is a sound and visual installation that I recently exhibited in Berlin. It metaphorically explores the sound of the universe that is hidden but omnipresent.
A hypothetical situation based on an imagined possibility, manipulated to show the truth but presented as a lie that no one has ever experienced but knows exists.
A satellite reaching out, what a wonder to journey to who knows where, who knows care, does anyone care, is anyone there.
Everywhere is nowhere, as it is nowhere we have been but would like to go, isolation brings wonder, our ear lids are wide.
Before the bang it was black, then it was white, and so it remains, though energy fades, it still abounds, and still delights and conveys much. Continue reading “From Dark Comes Light”
Developed over a 2 week period and shown for one night on 23rd July 2015 Manufactured Time was a project initiated by Willan Octave-Emile with myself and Ivo Gretener. We all collaborated to explore the open-ended and multi-dimensional relationship between sound and time. The project was (is) a composition of fragments of sound and video, mixing memories, clichés, actual experiences and illusions. It searches a short event becoming long, something appearing random, chaotic and rich, not having an end and a beginning, which actually reveals itself to be an ordinate loop, a repetition.
